I'm a busy little 'bee'...

Hi there, Dixie here . Yes, that is me...sigh. Miss Lisa has gone over the top on Halloween preparations, don't you think? I am dressed as  a BEE. a Honeybee, she corrects me. My wings are detachable and came off of a current extra Halloween Chelsea. My costume goes to my knees, but I'm adorable, a tiny bit of honey cuteness, so I can pull it off. I settled on the bee costume because I like my antennae. headpiece....I have been falling down on my blogging duties, (so has Gracie) but hey, alot of new dolls have arrived, and I haven't yet checked out this new diva in the One Sixth Scale dollhouse  nor this Harry Potter character from Tonner that showed up either. I've got alot of interviewing to do....so my costume is appropriate- I am so busy like a bee! And that's my new dog, who thinks he is a King, but really he's named Duke...after John Wayne. I like John Wayne movies. So Duke is my new doggie...

Dollar Tree Sundae lip balms...

Just a few quick pics of Gracie (she got a new soccer uniform and wants to show it off- Ebay find of Hopscotch Hill from American Girl, retired) and her lip balm sundaes from the Dollar Tree. I have long browsed the Dollar stores for the soda can lip balms, ice cream lip balms, (the Wolverine fridge in the pic is full of them!) I found these at the Dollar Tree, but I imagine they would also be in Family Dollar, Dollar General, and so on. chair and table are from American Girl from the historical Molly collection.

Pumpkin Hill Academy- Back to school!

Just a few quick photos of the girls of Pumpkin Hill Academy...I created this in photoflexer in Photobucket for the American Girl Playthings forum, for their annual back to school PT event they do this time of year ...that is why Gracie and Dorothy are not in the photos, even though they are part of 'proper school' like Our Dolls calls it...I am also preparing some photos for their current Fall/Autumn contest. I staged this small setting with Miss Ashton and Rebecca and Kit in their school desks...I still need about two more desks for all of the dolls. I am currently on one of the long term projects -- trying to get their school uniforms together. I may end up using Rebecca's uniform, but I like Molly's too, the plaid looks like a regular school uniform, even for Felicity.
